my city was nomishi. all the students first sat in a semi circle facing the stage for a drum performance by a group of cute boys.

then our semi circle switched to face the families and we had to do self-introduction about where we are from and greetings in our national language.
when everything was finally done, we had a little chat with our host family. i was a bit embarrassed because i went to play with the wrong kids. (-_-`) but oh well. my family had a little girl of age 4 named kanako and a cute baby boy aged 1.
from where we lived, you could actually tell it's sort of a rural are with a lot of farmlands.

we took a little tour around the area. a spooky temple near it.
