so i went to read habaek's bride and somehow i related myself to mura. i like her old version too but don't think i have the figure and face to pull it off. at least the young version had fringe to cover the face!

the young and the old

but the version i like is this (and how i wish someone will cosplay that antelope with me)

i especially like her headdress

was quite excited to start on this as it was non-colored, so i get to fill in all the colors! i thought mura the older version was a very reddish-kind of person and young mura probably needs some red as well. not too much, so i lightened it with the white layover.

this is the red skirt with the painted symbol, in gold. i like how red and gold goes together. lined the pattern with gold sequins to bring it out more. however i feel it's still not poofy enough. think i need to add more cloth.

this is her inner wear. the chiffon was torn out from my kyoko... haha.

next is her layover qipao-like thingy. i think i had the base cut too small. OH WELL, this just means i need to shrink horizontally ain't it.

Photobucket

lined it with gold!

and added in silver tie buttons, white laced front, and gold laced the collar.

and now my beloved headdress! the base is made out of corrugated boards.

Photobucket

patterns were made out of foam. i painted the base with acrylic first then sprayed over. corrugated boards are too smooth to spray on immediately, the color will just wear off with a simple scratch. acrylic gives just a little more resistance...

lined the headdress and added jewels to pattern it.

Photobucket

added in the long beads that trickle from her headdress

Photobucket

as well as the chains around the forehead and back

and the final thing!

Photobucket

now, how am i gonna wear it...
