131231 Countdown

so in the morning we went to dongdaemon (finally) and shopped for some materials.

we had cheesy dalkgalbi for lunch/dinner after walking around. it was not too bad!

the night view of dongdaemon is pretty cool, and there seem to be a nice new mysterious structure! too bad it wasn't opened so we couldn't really go in.

there's some nicely lit decorated buildings also.

and i found some really nice mini pots!! seemed good as a present! and so super cute!!!

we rested a bit at a smoothie shop, and mr 00 fell asleep. =_=zZZZZz

after that we continued to myeongdong to meet the others

we rested at osulloc green tea with hyun bin first before dman, mr gold and ark came over. then we went to have dinner. a lot of places were already closed by then (10+), but we found a kimchi stew place that's opened till late, and pretty good!!

after that, time to battle the crowd...

and last pic of 2013! with my 2 favourite kongs! i simply love 00's expression. lolol. it must be the 'oh god i'm crazy for squeezing with the crowd but wth!'

by the time we managed to squeeze further in... and i couldn't even see the stage, the countdown began...

the fireworks could all be bought on the streets, and it actually looked pretty dangerous cos they were shooting it in the trees... anyway the crowd dispersed pretty quick after. since i pretty much didn't wanna stay out at the pc rooms like last year, me and 00 went back first while the rest went to a game room.

we ran to catch the last bus at gangnam........

but the bus didn't stop at our stop!!! so we waited for the next one, which stopped at a stand opposite ours.

and the last bus simply just went past our stop.

so we ended up sleeping at cafe bene till daylight, where the bus was supposed to come around 530am. but we realised that's when the first bus departs from the interchange, and it will only reach at 630am. so we rested some more at krispy kreme. oh well. and we slept well past the noon on our first day of 2014.

we had pizza hut for lunch/dinner, and since it was 1+1, we called the other guys in to eat. and this was what we ordered for like 6 of us. really crazy! but i had wanted to try this clown pocket thingy cos it looked interesting. it was a disappointment actually because the edges were filled with cheese powder and not the flowy cheese, and it was sweet too. dman didn't really like it. oh well...

still, it was a step from 2013 to 2014, in mandarin 13 to 14. with my love *_* i'm happy.

131230 Wonsam

supposed to go to the agricultural theme park in yongin... so we set off on our journey. the bus that drove us there only came every hour or so, so we decided to take another bus that goes to the park nearby.

had a bit of lunch first before we took off, my nice porridge~

they have roe rice too! but of cos my favourite alpab place is still the best

so when we took the bus and reached the place we sort of got lost because we walked to a place with almost nothing in sight. but it turns out that if we were to walk a little further we could have found it. we turned back, then went on the same round again. super looooooong walk.

and we have to climb such a steep mountain

... only to find out it's closed.

BLOODY HELL.

but i still couldn't leave without any pictures.

ARGHHH.

and when we wanted to board the bus we realised we missed one that just left, and the next one only came an hour later. just how bad can our luck be?!!??!

but thank goodness there's a toilet because i was super urgent. =_=

and there seems to be a falun temple nearby so we went to take a look. not that there's anything to see...

then we took the bus home after we walked allll the way out. saw some poor pregnant cats running about in the cold. can't really do much though... back in yong-in, we went to have... korean bbq.

but this bbq was a bit different because there's this round of omelet around it, which is pretty nice!! the meat is actually beef too, and it tasted pretty good.

there seems to be a newly opened 'disco' place, and guess what's their disco?

it's a spinning disc where groups of people can move around in without safety belt strapped, and the DJ says lots of funny things and make them fall all over.

the best thing is when the DJ says it's over, and he rocks the whole thing, causing everyone to fall!

haha. we've gotta go there together someday...

after that we went to make specs cos i wanted to 'hint' for a birthday gift.

they only needed 15 mins to make the specs, and while waiting, there's a refreshment area to rest around.

in the end, 00 didn't get the hint. but we managed to turn the situation around... somehow xD

131229 Comic World

actually because we were preparing for comic world, i stayed home the whole of saturday (28th) to work on karma costume. but in the end, the shoulder wings couldn't be made in time and i went back to doing sivir. i had wanted to debut karma very much too. oh well.

so anyway we went down about 1pm, after a much delayed decision. i had to be make-up ready in like 30mins. jeez. we took a car down with the 2 kongs, since we had so much luggage due to jayce...

car was shaking too much but i managed to take a clear photo when it stopped! km says that i finally look decent for once (cos i have make up). grrrr.

got changed quickly when we reached.. and here's us!

our dear jayce. the CW staff were going around checking if we have authorized wristbands on and they chose to pick on our big guy. seriously, can't they read the atmosphere!?

and km was shining with his LED armour

it was probably 0 or 2 degrees. but i found myself walking outside just fine. in my super mini dress. but it was quite sad that we didn't manage to take a lot of photos, because most of the people were alreay gone by then... by at least i managed to find a decent group photo (with 2 other random people joining in) for our LOL group.

also managed to see sexaaay lucy and kawaiii rose during the event! not so bad for 15min cosplay. TwT

after that, we went to a tonkatsu shop to eat, and had drinks with our superstar jungu for the night. i learnt a lot of new drinking games, shall try it next time with SMLJ. and jungu says he's working on a new drama with junki... what!?!? can't offend him now. my junki!!!!

anyway, it was pretty fun!

131227 Gyeonggi Museum

there's a really weird museum called nam june paik art center. and whatever is inside is pretty creepy to me.

but before we head there we took a left turn to see what else is there. apart from a plant shop,

and some bell making classes,

not much. so we headed to the art center.

if you're a citizen of yong-in you get a 50% off. not bad.

so this artist is supposed to be someone who tried to put sex into music themes. like playing a piano on live, naked.

did you think i was gonna show you a naked photo? well, there are some blurry clips which actually showed that. but it's not very interesting. the whole museum was rather creepy cos of the things that's being displayed. they made use of a few hundred tvs all over the place though.

and i don't know why there's a display of a garage. probably the used-to-be workplace?

but anyway i concluded that artists have mental disorders. that's why they create bizarre things. like trying to draw with your necktie. or your tits. =_=

well anyway we went off for lunch. there's a huge restaurant with a hanok exterior but sold bbq buffet.

yes, it's a restaurant. but i don't like bbq. so i skipped it. went to the place with famous tofu-jjige instead. weird building that has modern structure at the top though. i think they built on top of the existing hanok much later.

with lovely joseon interiors!

and we ordered tofu jjige of course! 00 was very hungry so he ate some appetizer first.

but thank goodness the food arrived in time so i was saved. it was just 8k won per person and tasted awesomeeeeee!!

we then went over to gyeonggi provincial museum nearby. might as well, right.

and the sun is setting...

waited inside while 00 goes for a looooooong run in the toilet =_=

anyway the museum featured various animals, and i think the animals are real (but fossilized). i think it might have taken more work to recreate the fish than to fossilize it perhaps?

some traditional handicrafts were also exhibited. this tiger looks so furry and huggable.

maybe this was real too.

how the olden folks look like. guess no matter where you're from, we all started from just wearing undies.

there were children's drawings displayed as well, and a children museum next to it. but it was already near closing hours so we went off for the day.

had a light dinner at paris baguette, then back home~
